As we head into National Careers Week, we thought it would be timely to showcase just a few of the latest resources and projects focused on careers and employability that have been produced by some of our QAA-funded Collaborative Enhancement Projects.
An initiative led by a team at London Metropolitan University, working with colleagues from University of West London, University of Westminster, University of Hertfordshire, Kingston University and University of Roehampton, produced a virtual careers fair toolkit designed to support students and graduates from groups which are traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
Recently, the Careers Group and the Centre for Online and Distance Education at the University of London collaborated with King's College London and City, University of London in a project to develop a toolkit that focused on pedagogy, assessments, and employability.
Another recent project, managed by colleagues from the University of Huddersfield, University of Bolton and City College Plymouth, has created a toolkit to support the development of students' skills in social entrepreneurship.
In February, we published a podcast exploring inclusive strategies for embedding employability in curricula developed by a Collaborative Enhancement Project run by teams from King's College London and City, University of London.
Our latest podcast features colleagues from Liverpool John Moores University, Oxford Brookes University and the University of Chester talking about the launch of their new toolkit which focuses on approaches to promoting impact in work-based learning.
Meanwhile, QAA has recently, in partnership with Enterprise Educators UK, produced our own set of videos to explain what enterprise education is, explore the attributes and competencies it can help to develop, and suggest ways to build an entrepreneurial mindset.
