QAA publishes report on discussions of awarding gaps

QAA has published a brief report which summarises ideas raised at two lively roundtable events held in June to explore evidence-based strategies to the closing of awarding gaps.

These discussions followed the publication of QAA's Awarding Map in May and involved a dozen UK higher education providers.

The report highlights the importance of understanding the student journey and the intersectionality of impacting factors, as well as the effective use of data and the evaluation and sharing of approaches to intervention.
