QAA publishes new resource map offering support in going beyond baseline regulatory requirements

A new QAA publication, Beyond the Baseline: QAA Resource Map, offers an overview of QAA resources that have been carefully curated to support the tertiary and higher education sector in England in going beyond the baseline regulatory requirements.

It demonstrates how QAA resources relate to the Office for Students’ conditions and how they can be used to enhance student learning, teaching and assessment above the regulatory thresholds.

Beyond the Baseline is designed to be easily accessible to a wide audience in the sector, especially academic and professional support staff actively involved in maintaining academic standards and ensuring and enhancing quality.

It is a practical guide that can strategically support higher education leaders when developing or reviewing institutional strategies, in policy development and during new programme design, course/programme validations and review. The resource can also be used to support early career academics and quality professionals who may be new to academic standards, quality assurance and enhancement in UK higher education.
