QAA is delighted to announce the publication of its latest Country Insight report on transnational education in the Philippines.
The report aims to help our International Insights Members who wish to expand operations in the Philippines by providing information on the country's higher education landscape, quality assurance of higher education, government agencies and key stakeholders, and transnational education.
Highlights of the report include:
- In-depth analysis - a detailed examination of the transnational education landscape in the Philippines, covering key aspects such as regulatory frameworks, accreditation processes, and quality assurance mechanisms.
- Emerging trends - valuable insights into the latest trends shaping transnational education in the Philippines, including collaborative partnerships, programme offerings and student enrolment patterns.
- Policy implications - the implications of current policies on transnational education and recommendations for enhancing collaboration between international institutions and Philippine authorities.
- Stakeholder perspectives - interviews and case studies from key stakeholders offering insight into the challenges and opportunities within transnational education in the Philippines.
In producing these reports, QAA seeks to liaise with local regulators and quality assurance agencies, and other UK-sector bodies with relevant expertise. QAA signed a strategic partnership with the Philippines higher education regulator - the Commission on Higher Education - in May 2023 and we would like to thank them for their collaboration and support in producing this resource.
