QAA launches new membership programme
Date: | July 2 - 2019 |
---|
Universities, colleges and other providers of higher education in the UK can now join QAA's new membership programme.
Membership replaces QAA subscription from 1 August 2019. We have moved to a membership model to reflect the enhanced partnership we will have with UK higher education providers that enables our member universities and colleges to have greater influence on the work that we do on their behalf.
Through membership, QAA will work in partnership with the sector to develop solutions to shared, sector-wide issues, including developing advice and guidance associated with the Quality Code, Subject Benchmark Statements, and advice on degree standards.
QAA members will also have exclusive access to events and resources including case studies and webinars. We have an exciting programme for membership in 2019-20, including a calendar of events and fresh new guidance in the pipeline. We will soon be launching a new online site giving easy access to these exclusive member resources.
As a result of regulatory and funding reform, membership in England will be voluntary. Universities and colleges can choose to become a QAA member, and additionally sign up for enhancement services - Quality Insights and International Insights - to suit their needs.
Providers in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will move over to membership automatically on 1 August, QAA will continue to work with you to provide our dedicated service to you in your QAA Membership plus you’ll have the additional enhancement services as standard.
More information about what's included in membership for 2019-20, including how to sign up in England, can be found on the Membership section of our website.
