QAA invites contributions for a new learning and teaching professional development resources pack

QAA Cymru has launched a call for contributions from FE and HE providers in Wales, for a new learning and teaching professional development resources pack.

As part of a HEFCW-funded project, ‘The impact of staff learning and teaching professional development on enhancing the student/learner experience and boosting student/learner outcomes’, we are seeking strong examples of professional learning initiatives which have had positive impacts on student learning.

All forms of professional development that show this impact are welcomed. These might range from informal, brief and individual action research activities to extended, larger-scale development initiatives across a faculty or department. Initiatives in progress are welcome provided impact can be shown.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an important new resource that will be shared across the sector and showcased at a QAA Cymru HE/FE conference in Summer 2024.

If you would like to contribute, please complete the submission form by 22 January 2024. This asks for a brief summary of your chosen initiative and its impact. A QAA representative will then contact you for additional information in February. All relevant case studies will be included in the resource pack.
