QAA Chief Executive transition arrangements

We announced the appointment of Vicki Stott as QAA's new Chief Executive in May. The period of transition is now under way, and we have today clarified arrangements for the next couple of months until Douglas Blackstock’s term as Chief Executive ends formally at the end of October.
In order to ensure continuity over the full operating year, Douglas will take a period of extended leave in September and October, although he will honour several prearranged engagements. Vicki will act as Chief Executive from 1 September. Vicki and the QAA Board have asked that Douglas continues to offer support to QAA over the next year as a consultant and adviser on European and international matters, and continues with the Presidency of ENQA.
