New toolkit supporting social enterprise and entrepreneurial skills in tertiary education

A toolkit for supporting the development of social enterprise and entrepreneurial skills in higher and further education is now available through a QAA-funded Collaborative Enhancement Project (CEP).
The toolkit uses the Pedagogy of Social Enterprise Model, an audit tool that identifies the key knowledge, skills and capabilities that should be included when designing a social enterprise learning experience. This evidence-based model comprises six key components of learning that inform social entrepreneurial skills development.
The audit tool is designed to be an asset for course teams, enabling them to assess the currency of their curriculum and support the delivery of needs-led education. The wider toolkit provides valuable resources to support social enterprise delivery as a learning experience for students.
These resources are outputs from our Developing social entrepreneurial skills in students CEP, led by the University of Huddersfield in partnership with the University of Bolton and City College Plymouth.
