Join our Quality Code Advice and Guidance event

On 10 February, QAA will host the first in a series of events to engage sector stakeholders in the formulation of the Advice and Guidance documents designed to support providers in their implementation of the new edition of the UK Quality Code, published by QAA in June 2024.

This online event will offer colleagues an opportunity to feed into the design and development of the first tranche of Advice and Guidance documents that will underpin the sector's use of the Code.

These focus on the following sections of the Quality Code:

• Principle 1: Taking a strategic approach to managing quality and standards
• Principle 2: Engaging students as partners
• Principle 8: Operating partnerships with other organisations.

Our writing groups of colleagues and experts from across QAA Member institutions and networks have now completed the first phase of drafting content for these Advice and Guidance documents.

This event will give colleagues the opportunity to discuss points arising from this work, in order to ensure that our guidance meets the ongoing needs of the sector.

Participants will be invited to share their feedback through facilitated breakout discussion groups. The outcomes of these discussions will inform the next phase of the development of these documents.
