International Partner Forum

QAA's bi-annual International Partner Forum took place on 16 May, welcoming colleagues from partner quality agencies from around the world to share insights and best practice in an online format. 

We were joined by partners from nearly 20 countries and territories to discuss transnational education (TNE). QAA has been working alongside Dr Janet Ilieva from Education Insight as part of a British Council project to develop a global framework for describing and analysing national environments for TNE.

The event invited colleagues from partner agencies to discuss how quality assurance can be articulated within this framework, considering how TNE quality can be measured in context and what are the elements of comparability.

Eduardo Ramos, Director of International & Professional Services, said: 'It was fantastic to see so many colleagues at the International Partner Forum. It was a great opportunity to come together and discuss collaboration in cross-border higher education. Partnership is central to our ways of working at QAA, and we look forward to continuing to work on shared challenges with our global network of partners.'
