International Quality Assurance Programme (IQAP) 2025

About this event
This stimulating five-day course provides an excellent opportunity to increase your understanding of higher education quality assurance and enhancement. You will learn about UK and international quality assurance best practice and build relationships with quality assurance professionals from around the world.
The course includes four days of interactive high-quality sessions by QAA quality experts where you will have the opportunity to engage in case studies, discussion points and group activities. One day will be dedicated to visiting two UK institutions for a unique chance to learn more about higher education quality in practice. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of participation signed by Vicki Stott, Chief Executive of QAA.
QAA has previously welcomed delegates from more than 40 countries across the world to participate in IQAP. All have taken the opportunity to learn about a range of topics, such as:
- what a culture of quality looks like
- quality assurance in the age of Generative AI
- external quality assurance frameworks
- internal quality assurance and self-evaluation
- quality assurance professionalism.

Who should attend?
This event is most useful for those who:
- have at least five years’ management experience within higher education quality assurance
- work in a management or leadership role with a responsibility for quality improvement
- are looking for an opportunity to develop their knowledge of quality improvement practice within the higher education sector.
The programme will be delivered entirely in English, so you must have a sufficient level of spoken and written English to benefit from the programme.
Booking
The delegate fee for the five-day programme is £1,970.
Early bird offer: Book before 31 March 2025 and pay just £1,820.
Please note that the delegate fee does not include the following:
- return transport to the UK
- costs associated with visas
- evening meals (other than networking events within the programme)
- accommodation in the UK
- airport transfers in the UK.
