Please find answers below to some of our most frequently asked questions:

To successfully sign up for the Membership Resources Area you need to use the email address associated with your institution. This is how we make sure only our members get access to our handy resources. You can check our list of QAA Members to see if you’re eligible to register.

If your institution isn’t on the list, we would love to discuss QAA Membership with you. Get in touch at UKservices@qaa.ac.uk and our team will get back to you.

If you encounter any other problems when trying to sign up or log in, please get in touch with the QAA Membership Delivery team via membership@qaa.ac.uk.

Some of our events are member-only and others are restricted to specific types of QAA Membership. To register for a QAA event please use your institutional email address, we may cancel your registration if we can’t identify your institution.

Institutions with QAA Introductory Membership are able to attend our networks and make use of limited free spaces at our conferences. Full QAA Membership includes access to networks, topic-based webinars and workshops, conferences and in-person events. It also includes our structured professional development training programmes.

Some events are only open to those with our International Insights package, whilst some events are specifically aimed at International Members or International Associate Members.

If you think your membership package includes an event that you can’t sign up to, please email events@qaa.ac.uk.

Sometimes we cap event numbers overall or limit the places available to each member institution to ensure we can facilitate useful discussion groups and provide space for networking.

If we have limited capacity, you will no longer see the gold register button and a waiting list will be in operation.

Our events team are happy to advise – please email events@qaa.ac.uk.

If you have moved institution and they are also a QAA Member, please contact us via engage@qaa.ac.uk so we can ensure you maintain access to QAA Membership events and resources.

Unfortunately, if your new institution is not a QAA Member, we will be unable to continue granting access to our resources and events. We cannot give access to personal email addresses.

We’d love to welcome your institution into QAA Membership!

If your institution is based in the UK, please check our eligibility criteria and our different Membership offers before getting in touch with your institutional information at UKservices@qaa.ac.uk. One of our team will be in touch.

If your institution is based outside the UK, please read about the different types of international membership before completing our online application form on this page.

We have many opportunities for you to get involved across the QAA Membership year. As well as our expert-led events and networks, we offer various opportunities for you to express your interest in our advisory groups and Collaborative Enhancement Projects. We also share a fortnightly member newsletter to keep you up to date with what’s on at QAA – sign up to receive your copy!

For our International Members, International Associate Members and those with the International Insights package, we also have some great opportunities on offer. These include international Collaborative Enhancement Projects, international workshops and training, and International Policy and Practice Networks.
