QAA Scotland is hosting a workshop in Glasgow on 10 and 11 December with ENQA (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education).
It is three years since the adoption of the revised Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the EHEA, which moved towards a more student centred learning approach in European higher education. Institutions and agencies across Europe have taken important steps to align their quality assurance with the new requirements. However, the sector still need to decide the most appropriate way to measure and support student-centred learning approaches through quality assurance.
Colleagues from across Europe are invited to join us to discuss the following questions:
- How is student-centred learning addressed in quality assurance and how could it be in the future?
- What are the respective roles of institutions and agencies?
- What is the role of students in the related processes?
- How can we make the most of their contribution?
Full details about the workshop including how to register are available on the ENQA website.
