How to use this Resource Hub


This Resource Hub aims to: 


• introduce the concept of active blended learning
• help guide educators to prepare design for active blended learning
• provide practical examples of good practice.


The sections are standalone but have links between them.

 

Introduction to active blended learning

Sections one and two of this Resource Hub offer a theoretical background to active blended learning. This area is emergent, and this section has signposting to ongoing work in this area.

 

Practical advice when preparing and designing for active blended learning

Section three introduces tools and approaches that can be used to support the development of active blended learning. Section four explores how to issue guidance to learners when introducing active blended learning

 

Examples of good practice

Section five outlines how four institutions have implemented active blended learning.

 

We hope that the resource will be accessible and useful to those facilitating learning as well as learners and those involved in student support.
