Quality Matters 2018

Date: 17 October 2018
Location: Manchester
Venue: The Studio Manchester

QAA is excited to bring together student representative bodies, students, policy makers and HE student engagement practitioners from across the UK to discuss the changing regulatory landscape, how these changes have impacted student engagement, and how to maintain momentum in the new environment.

Quality Matters 2018 offers a mix of interactive workshops, information giving and best practice sharing sessions to provide information to those across the spectrum of student engagement in quality assurance. Featuring keynotes from influential speakers across the higher education sector, this event will look at key changes to the HE world, and how we can all continue to work in partnership to make sure student engagement is at the heart of the new landscape.

If you’re a newly elected sabbatical officer, student rep, students’ union staff member or institutional staff member who’s new to student engagement in quality assurance, then this is the event for you.

Who should attend?

The event will cater to those with both a limited knowledge of student engagement in quality assurance and those with some experience in this area.

In particular, this event will be relevant to:

  • student representatives
  • student engagement practitioners - either from student representative bodies or university engagement teams
  • academics or members of the Quality team with a remit for student engagement
  • students.
