Features of good practice Recommendations for action

The team has identified the following good practice:

  • gathering and acting upon feedback from students.

The team considers that it is advisable for the provider to:

  • ensure that the Academic Board complies fully with its terms of reference to maintain rigorous oversight of academic standards and quality on centre-devised programmes
  • ensure that both variants of the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration comply fully with relevant external reference points
  • ensure that staff and students have appropriate access to relevant journals to support teaching and learning
  • ensure that website and prospectus information on centre-devised programmes is kept fully up to date.

The team considers that it would be desirable for the provider to:

  • undertake a review of quality assurance processes and map them against relevant higher education reference points
  • extend the system of regular tutorial review to all students.
